“ The plantains!!!!!!!! Get them. The veggie quesadilla was good, and the sauce was even better. The service was fast. We had our appetizers, drinks and entrees within 10 minutes of being seated which is necessary when you're hungry. The atmosphere is calm, and the servers are kind. I am leaving here with a full belly and a wide smile! ”

“ Stopped for a quick bite before the ride home and got the pineapple shrimp tacos. They were really good. 2 tacos were tasty, but I loved the black beans and corn. They were cold, which I hadn't expected. And the rice was a little dry. But all the main things were very good. ”

“ Service at the Cantina was super friendly. It was easy to check in and put your name down for a table. They had a seating area or you could go to the bar and wait for the restaurant to text when the table was ready. The restaurant was completely packed but lively. Note- if you are visiting from out of town the restaurant closes around 9pm. The waiter immediately stopped by the table to drop off chips and salsa while we looked over the menu. We got the queso, cheese enchilada plate and nachos. Everything was vegetarian friendly and everything was delicious. They have a variety of unique sides to pick from like Mac and cheese and cornbread. The flavors were Tex-Mex which is exactly what we were craving! It was a nice change from the same American fare menus at the biltmore house/lodging area. ”

“ This is an awesome place. The atmosphere is typical Mexican/Spanish restaurant. The place is clean and plenty of sitting; including outside sitting. Our server, Ms Molly is fantastic. She is attentive, checked on us enough time to make us feel appreciated. The food, I had the three protein Fajita dinner plate and my wife had the Taco plate. I think the fajita dish is more than enough for two people. It comes with Shrimp, Chicken and Beef along with the vegetables, rice and beens, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo and flour tortillas. Overall, Molly is outstanding, the food and price is great and the atmosphere is wonderful. Good place to try in the Biltmore Village. ”

“ We were in Asheville for the day and it was getting late in the day. We needed a dinner location that wouldn't be super expensive and had a quick availability. The Cantina showed up in my Yelp search as a viable option, and I remember eating there years ago and not having a bad experience. So my party of six showed up at 7:30 on a weeknight when they were closing at 8:30. We were seated right away. The service was great, and the food (including chips and salsas) were brought out right away. Everything was actually super amazing. I love the two kinds of salsa they bring to the table for the chips. I decided to order the Loco Chicken Burrito for my entree. It was astounding. The Chicken Tinga inside tasted fantastic and then it was smothered in this delicious queso sauce. We could also pick and choose our two side items. Instead of the traditional rice and beans, I opted for the mac & cheese and the refried black beans. Also delicious! There were absolutely no disappointments. Our server was super friendly and attentive, too. I'm making sure to return the next time we visit Asheville. ”
